There were so many butterflies of the same type at Newaygo! I never saw so many...at least 7 or 8 in the same place. He appears to be snacking on an unidentified stain.

aww :aww: yay!! so glad someone agrees that butterflies are the absolute shit!

if only they stayed longer, i'd have, like, a butterfly apartment building.

but, alas, like bubbles, they're naught but evanescent beauty.

I had been taking pictures of this same type of butterfly all day, since they were fluttering about, and happened to still have my camera out when I spotted this one. It's going to be used for my personal project, actually.
